I have a natural eye for design and that, paired with my attention to detail, can bring any space to life. A city girl at heart, I’m originally from Las Vegas, Nevada, but moved to the East Coast 12 years ago. My journey with Lisa Teach began two years ago as her client. In 2017, shortly after Lisa launched Nesting – Home Staging & Redesign as an exclusive service to her clients, I joined her team as a home stylist. My work with Nesting sparked an interest in the real estate side of the business. In 2018 I obtained my real estate license and have since cultivated a new passion helping clients find the right house to call home as as agent with Lisa Teach & Associates. I approach everything in life with dedication and enthusiasm and have a strong desire to help others.

I approach every client as an individual with unique needs and concerns. With more than 30 years in real estate, I am currently licensed and actively listing and selling in Maryland, Pennsylvania and West Virginia. I’ve been a Realtor® since 1987 and an associate broker since 1990. I’m a past president of the Franklin County Board of Realtors. I currently serve as chairman of the Professional Standards Committee and I’m a member of the Education Committee for the Pen Mar Regional Association of Realtors.
My professional and personal experiences have shaped me into an agent who is always up for a challenge with the right blend of tenacity and integrity. I also believe in helping to shape a new generation of real estate professionals and do so as a partner in Preferred Real Estate Institute, a real estate school with classes in Chambersburg, Pa. and Carlisle, Pa. The school offers pre-license, continuing education and broker classes as well as continuing education classes at Pen Mar Regional Association of Realtors. In addition to spending time with family, I devote much of my spare time to volunteering and am a past president of the Williamson Ruritan Club.

Buying or selling a home is a major life decision and all clients have their own diverse set of needs. The process is often accompanied by challenges, stress and at times, uncertainty. My philosophy to overcome those road blocks is really quite simple: my clients come first and communication is key.
I understand the importance of family. I’m a husband and father, with a wonderful wife who teaches for Washington County Public Schools and a one-year-old son. We love to travel, fish and spend time outdoors. I know why having the RIGHT house is an important part of your life.

With more than twelve years of sales experience in credit card sales and service, I am very competent meeting the needs of individual customers. A Pennsylvania native, I have resided in Washington County the past 10 years. As a mother of two children, I’ve been involved in this community through school programs, sports activities, volunteer work and more. I’ve gained firsthand knowledge of our schools, our towns and what makes Washington County and surrounding areas a great place to live. After 17 years in retail management, I transitioned to the real estate industry and have been a licensed realtor since 2013. I truly understand the importance of community involvement and partnering with other professionals and businesses in the area to work towards common goals.
As the person entrusted with the important role of client and community liaison for Lisa Teach & Associates, I look forward to engaging with clients, community members and the local business community to build lasting relationships. I’ll utilize my past experience to manage all local outreach for Lisa Teach & Associates, as well as fundraising events and public relations. This includes our Homes for Heroes affiliation, which we take great pride in, “Thanking Heroes, One Home at a Time.”

Originally a West Coast gal from California, I relocated to Maryland four years ago and met Lisa Teach when purchasing my new home. She launched Nesting — Home Staging & Redesign in 2017 and I joined her team as a home stylist. I never shy away from a challenge and my goal is to make each property shine brightly. I also happen to believe there’s no such thing as too much coffee, and that shopping of any kind should be considered cardio. As both a wife and mother, I understand the importance of functionality and practicality in a home, but I also believe there should be sprinkles of fabulous here and there. Those special touches are my signature style, and they take they look of your home from ordinary to extraordinary.
Staging is not the same as interior decorating; it involves strategically decorating a space with the buyer in mind. You need someone who possess both the knowledge and skillset to create a look for your unique property that will photograph well and stand out among similar listings. With my help, you’ll be hearing “under contract” and “sold” as buyers fall in love with your home.
Staging your home requires a reliable, dedicated individual who can take direction, be on their feet for long periods of time and be physically active. It requires a team player who is respectful of your personal property, careful with fragile home decor accessories and someone who can do some very heavy lifting. Home stylists and assistants have to maneuver furniture in and out of properties, up and down stairs and around tight corners, with great attention to detail in everything they do. Home stylist assistants help home stylists in many different ways from loading the van at the warehouse all the way to completion of staging a property.
I am excited to begin this chapter of my life with Nesting – Home Staging & Redesign. I’m a 19-year-old student, studying Nutritional Science through Purdue University Global. In my spare time I enjoy being with friends and family, especially in the outdoors. I love to hike, swim, and be active! I feel a strong connection to community and enjoy volunteering with a local youth cheerleading program. It’s important to me to give back to the community that had such a large impact in raising me.

Creating an effective communication strategy, crafting messages and disseminating those to the public requires a savvy marketing professional.
I have 20 years of experience in marketing communications. A Maryland girl through and through, my writing and photographs have been widely published throughout the region and beyond. I knew as early as middle school that I wanted to go to college and major in journalism. My rigorous training at the University of Maryland School of Journalism prepared me for my work in public relations, marketing and content creation. I began my career with the National Park Service and have spent much of the past 20 years working in travel and tourism. When I’m not trying to stay up-to-date with the ever-changing world of social media marketing, I enjoy spending time with my husband and three children. I have a passion for the outdoors and I enjoy sharing the therapeutic benefits of hiking with other women as an ambassador for Girls Who Hike Maryland.
