Time to go Shopping

Wow, you’ve done a lot of work! It’s now time to find the right property for you.

First, Take a Drive
Getting to know the neighborhoods, complexes, or subdivisions which interest you will help your search. Drive around during daylight and get a feel for what it would be like to live in the area. Get out and walk around. When you’ve identified some areas that interest you, go there in the evening, too.  Where are the nearest stores for that late night milk run? Will you need schools nearby? Easy access to highways for commuting?

Narrow Your Search
We’ll sit down and select properties to visit; I’ll make appointments and verify directions. During your search, you’ll also want to take into consideration potential resale value of the properties, which I can help you with, as well.

Time to Buy
There it is. YOUR home and it’s love at first sight. Not only that, but it held up under close scrutiny as a careful buyer. Once you have picked out the property you want to purchase, I will help you make an offer that the seller will accept. I’ll also be sure investigate the potential expenses associated with the new property, such as homeowners’ association fees. Together, we’ll draft your offer in a way that gives you the advantage over another offer. The seller can accept or make a counter-offer. We go back to work, then, and negotiate the best deal, settlement terms, and management of the overall transaction.
