The Final Walk-Through
On the day of closing, or sometimes the day before, the buyer and buyer’s agent will visit the property to verify that everything is in order.
Just in Case
Once in a while, last-minute glitches occur. It is very seldom, however, that they are unfixable or unresolvable. If a hiccup does occur, Lisa and her team will be there to make sure asolution is attained efficiently and expeditiously.
The closing agent will provide a copy of the settlement statement to all parties involved in the transaction. That agent, along with the buyer and you, will sign the document to verify that all is in order. You will receive a certified check or wire transfer for the amount of the sale, and you will turn over keys to the property and all relevant information. If you are unable to attend the closing, Lisa and her team will make alternative arrangements.
